Part 1) Explore the following website. Play the games and make sure you know what the definitions are - There will be a quiz later. Feel free to open up an excel sheet and play around with it. See if you can make sells add up.

Part 2) In one workbook you will create the following worksheets
Worksheet 1: You will be given a budget of $3,000 per month. You will need to create a budget with the following excel worksheet. You may have to change some things to fit your lifestyle or needs. If you don’t know the cost of things (ie. Housing or electricity), research them to find out. At least 10% of your money each month must go into savings. Create a pie chart with your figures. Also create a pie chart with just variable and fixed expenses.

Worksheet 2: You have now saved up for a long time and have $3,000 to go on vacation but are having trouble deciding where to go. Survey your friends (at least 20 classmates) based on 5 different locations and create a bar graph.
Worksheet 3: You now have chosen a place for your vacation but need to decide when the weather will be the best. Create a line graph with the
average temperature, low temperature and high temperature per month.
Use the following site. Notice the temperatures are in Fahrenheight but we are Canadian. Use google to convert each temperature to degrees.

Use a spreadsheet to plan your trip. Make sure you think of all the little details (medical insurance?). Make sure you also stay within your $3000.00 dollar budget!
