Division 4 Video Assignment
Using a flip camera you will create a video on an assigned topic keeping in mind you are trying to teach your peers about the topic. We will use Windows Movie Maker to create our videos which allows many different options for editing. You may want to do some planning ahead of time to ensure you have all the parts you need filmed before you start editing. When you have finished getting all of your video bring your camera to Ms. Stefanyshyn so she can convert the videos in order to edit them.
Video Topics:
1) Peer Pressure
2) Family influences
3) Stereotyping
4) Discrimination
Before you will be given your camera to film you must hand in a plan. This should include:
1) Story Board
a. Some of your things may be typed on a slide.
b. Some may be filmed
2) Jobs for each group member
What you must include in your Video
- Definition
- Examples of what it is (at least 3) - you can do this through role-play or some other method
- How it can affect others (this will not fit all topics)
- Titles
- Credits
- Music
- Transitions
- Video Effects
- Other effects?
You will be marked on:
- Information provided
- Effort
- Ability to problem solve with your peers and the computer program
